Static GK practice with 63 questions on nicknames of places, rivers and cities, airports, national symbols, institutions and monuments, each with the answer and a short fact.
Static GK is the part of General Awareness that never changes: nicknames of cities, rivers and the cities on their banks, national symbols, famous institutions and monuments. Because these facts stay the same year after year, they are the safest marks in the paper, and a little regular revision is all it takes to get them right.
This set has 63 questions in six groups. Each question has four options, the correct answer and a short fact that helps you remember it. Try one group at a time, and read the fact under each answer, even if you got the answer right.
How to use it: Attempt each group in about 6 minutes. Note down the ones you missed in a small notebook and read that notebook again the next morning.

Tips to Remember Static GK
- Use pairs. Learn "city + river", "city + nickname" and "monument + place" as small pairs.
- Look at a map. Find each place on a map once. A picture stays in the mind longer than a line of text.
- Revise in small doses. Ten minutes every day is better than two hours once a week.
- Attempt again. Solve this set again after seven days and compare your score.
