SSC Current Affairs Questions 2026 (Daily Practice Set)

Rahul Kumar

SSC Exam Expert & Content Editor

Fifty current affairs questions split into five daily sets of ten, covering government, world affairs, science and space, sports, awards and people from 2024 and 2025.

Current affairs questions can feel like a never-ending job, but the good news is that SSC usually asks about the big, well-reported events of the last twelve months. If you know the major stories well, you can answer most of these questions comfortably.

This set has 50 questions divided into five daily sets of 10, so you can solve one set a day for five days. Each question has four options, the correct answer and a short note that explains why the event matters.

Please note: The questions in this set are based on events from 2024 and 2025. Current affairs keep changing, so before your exam also go through the latest monthly digest for the events that happened in the last few months.

How to use it: Solve each daily set in about 8 minutes. Then read the note under each question. If a topic is new to you, search for the news story once and read it in two or three lines. Do not spend more than that.

A Simple Way to Handle Current Affairs

  • Read one good summary a day rather than many news sites. Ten minutes is enough.
  • Make small categories: government and policy, world affairs, science and space, sports, awards and people.
  • Note names, dates and places in a small notebook. These are the details that are asked in the exam.
  • Revise every Sunday. A weekly revision of what you read during the week does more for your score than reading a lot without revising.

Come back to this set again a week before your exam. If you can answer at least 40 of the 50 questions, your current affairs base is in good shape.
